Hi,
My name is Catherine Trebble, and today (27th March 2011) I’m on Day 10 of David Cavanagh’s Best Coaching Program in Pattaya, Thailand.
This morning we were doing our overview of some of what we’ve covered on the course, and what our intentions are for our businesses when we return home.
I proudly stated mine. It went like this -:
“I’m only going to return to Pattaya for the course on the 22nd of July IF I’ve made $40’000. Otherwise I’m not coming back”.
I need to explain a little about myself here. I always have great intentions, but I often don’t follow through with them, and I needed to proclaim to the class my intention to hopefully give me some momentum to go forward.
David looked at me and said to me “You’re going to fail, I know you will”.
In that instant I wanted to cry. I felt enraged, slighted, offended, but also more challenged than I’ve ever felt. With my chin wobbling I shot to my feet and squared up to him. I didn’t way a word, but inside I was seething, full of anger. All these feelings weren’t because of what David Cavanagh had said, it was because I knew that unfortunately there was a pretty good chance he would be right.
The truth is I don’t have much in the bank to show for all that I do, yet I have always been told I’m really talented. My problem? I don’t follow through, I get distracted by the next new “bright shiny thing”, and I abandon what I have been working on.
Not any more David Cavanagh, I’m going to show you!
This blog will now be my online diary of how I prove David Cavanagh wrong, what I’m doing as I go along, and how I achieve my goal. Bookmark this page and follow me on my journey.
Please comment below with your messages of encouragement and support, and let me know what you think of how I’m doing proving David Cavanagh wrong.
Thanks!
Catherine
